Due to sustained growth in our infrastructure solution business over the last 12 months, the opportunity exists for a Systems Engineer to join the award winning Datasouth team and be part of this success. As a Senior Systems Engineer within the Datasouth team, you will be required to have the following experience and skills:

• Current Microsoft Windows Server versions
• Microsoft email solutions (Exchange 2003 - 2010)
• Small Business Server 2003/2008
• Remote Support capabilities
• Microsoft Terminal Services
• Citrix XenApp experience
• Intermediate understanding of switching, routing and firewalls
• Intermediate/advanced understanding of Virtualisation technologies
• Backup technologies and solutions
• Comprehensive problem solving skills

Responsibilities will include the management and integration of Windows based networks focusing primarily on mid-market solutions, technical documentation, undertaking of project based work from concept to completion and the daily management of typical IT related tasks and fault resolution. Candidates must also possess the ability to work with clients to design and document infrastructure solutions and deliver IT consulting type engagements when required.

This is a client facing role. The successful candidate must have exceptional communication skills, being able to clearly articulate technical information in a non-technical manner to clients, and possess open communication and knowledge sharing within a team environment.
