Datasouth again finalist in Microsoft Partner Awards
Wednesday, 5 August 2009Datasouth has again been named a finalist in the upcoming 2009 New Zealand Microsoft Partner Awards, which are due to be announced on the 27th August.
The awards are designed to honour Microsoft Gold, Certified and Small Business Specialist Partners who, over the past year, demonstrated an impressive level of innovation in using Microsoft technologies to deliver excellence to their clients.

Business Productivity Portal and Collaboration Solution of the Year — Tourism Australia, Sydney.
This portal solution provided a collaboration platform connecting internal and/or external stakeholders to critical business information. Productivity was improved through processes which enabled the team to create and publish information more quickly, and key information was reported from the customers’ business applications to allow team or individual specific views.
Core Infrastructure Solution of the Year — Quasar Systems Limited, Christchurch
Server technologies are the heart of any robust and responsive IT environment. In line with the Microsoft Core Infrastructure Optimisation model this award recognises a solution that has moved towards the IT Dynamic stage by delivering quantifiable results for the client.
Small Business Specialist of the Year — Quasar Systems Limited, Christchurch
This Small Business Specialist exemplifies the commitment and skill required to deliver great solutions to small business clients, and this solution highlights the innovative use of multiple Microsoft technologies to solve the client’s unique business challenge.
